Pin someone else’s tweet to your profile
Pinning a tweet to someone else is actually an easy process. This process works both on the phone and on the desktop. Go to the Twitter tool website Twtools and click the “Pin any tweet” option.
Click “Allow Access” to give Twtools permission to pin the tweet to your profile. Anyway, in the next step, you can see what this app can do on your profile. Just take a look and if you agree, click “Authorize application”.
Now go to the tweet you want to pin and copy the link. You can copy the omnibar link if it is on your desktop. If you are an iOS user, please tap “Share Tweet via”, Android users can skip this step. Next, from the pop-up box. Tap “Copy link to Tweet” to copy the URL of the tweet to your device’s clipboard. You can delete the pinned tweet at any time by clicking on the retweet option and selecting undo retweet. This will not only remove the retweet, but it will also remove it from your pinned tweet.
Although Twtools is a safe and reliable service, it is recommended to revoke access after the process is complete for greater security. To do this, open Twitter on the web, click the “More” option in the sidebar, and click “Settings & Privacy” in the drop-down menu. Click on “Applications and Sessions” on the right side of the screen. Alternatively, you can use this link to directly open the “Applications and Sessions” settings on Twitter. Alternatively you can use this Link to directly open the “Applications and sessions” settings in Twitter. It will display a list of all the applications linked to your account.
Now just click on Twtools and click on revoke access button to prevent the app from accessing your profile. Revoking access will not remove the pinned tweet.
Due to Twitter regulations, you can only pin one tweet per day. Later, you have to wait another 24 hours to pin another tweet. Other than that, this process works perfectly just as you expect. You can also check out other features like the welcome message or Twtools automatic retweet remover.
