The native screen mirroring feature on the firestick is not supported on iPhone, unlike on Android. Although the native function does not work, we have some third party apps for firestick that allow screen mirroring function to stream on iPhone.
Here’s how you can do that.
Screen Mirroring iPhone on Fire Stick
Open Fire TV and install “AirScreen” app on it. It’s available on the App Store, so you can directly search or call the app with Alexa and click on the Airscreen app.
Now, click on the download icon to start the installation.
Once installed, click “Open” to launch the application.
On the welcome screen, click the “Start Now” button.
Click “Start” to activate screen mirroring for your Fire Stick.
You can see the name of the device and the Wi-Fi network it is connected to.
On your iPhone, make sure you are on the same Wi-Fi network. Now swipe down and open Control Center and tap on “Screen Mirroring”.
You can view the device name as an Apple TV device. Tap it to start mirroring your iPhone screen to the Fire Stick.
That’s it, now your iPhone will start mirroring the screen to the Fire Stick.
Later, you can reopen the Airplay menu and click “Stop Mirroring” to stop screen mirroring.
Although the native screen mirroring option doesn’t work, you can use the Air Screen app to mirror your iPhone screen. The best part is that it doesn’t require any app to be installed on your iPhone so it works on any iPhone and even your Mac.
